Dr. Dehpanah

Dr. Dehpanah received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, at Irvine and he later earned his general dentistry degree (DMD) from Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry (BUGSDM).  In 2001, he completed his two-year post-graduate training fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry with rotations at Franciscan Children Hospital for Children and Boston Medical Center.  He then pursued an additional one year advanced training fellowship with emphasis in cosmetic and restorative dentistry which lead to a full time clinical and academic faculty position at Boston University in 2002. 

Dr. Dehpanah in 2005 decided to settle in North Andover with one of his mentors since 1995, Dr. William Bourassa.  In 2007, Drs Dehpanah, Gharib & Associates was established following Dr. Bourassa's retirement.

Today, Dr. Dehpanah is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the BUGSDM and practices dentistry in North Andover  with his wife, Dr. Gharib.  In his office, unlike most pediatric dentists he believes in a non-sedative approach and practices focusing on behavior management .  Dr. Dehpanah states: “my early exposure to the late Dean Spencer N. Frankl’s approach towards his patients crystalized the importance of human psychology and child development in a successful non-sedative treatment approach in non-hospital setting.” 

Dr. Dehpanah is an active member of the American Dental Society, Massachusetts Dental Society, Massachusetts Associates of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Merrimack Valley Dental Society.  Dr. Dehpanah is affiliated with Franciscan Hospital for Children and Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Dehpanah enjoys out door activities and spending every little time he gets with his 4 year old son.


Dr. Gharib

Dr. Gharib graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2004.  She pursued a fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in 2005 leading to a full time faculty position in the Oral Surgery Department and the faculty practice at Boston University.  As an Assistant Professor, in the Dept. of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery she continues overseeing and teaching the pre-doctoral students as well as treating patients on an emergency/trauma basis at the Boston Medical Center in the outpatient clinic and operating room.

Today, Dr. Gharib has expanded the adult part of the practice as a result of the growing number of our patients' loyalty during and after their college years. 

Dr. Gharib is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Merrimack Valley Dental Society.  Dr. Gharib is affiliated with Boston Medical Center.

She loves outdoor activities with her husband and her 4-year old son, she enjoys reading and painting in her spare time.
